Mark MacFarlane, Esq. is an active member of the California State Bar as well as a licensed California Real Estate Broker. While attending Loyola High School and the University of California, Davis, Mark supported himself as a construction tradesman developing a very useful background in construction and obtaining a CA Contractor’s License. After obtaining a B.S. in Managerial Economics, Mark immediately enrolled in McGeorge School of Law’s night program. Working as a Real Estate Appraisal apprentice during the day and attending law school at night, Mark graduated in only 3 years with a Tax Specialty in Law. Early in Mark’s career, he focused on rehabbing and managing existing multifamily developments as a way to obtain a great return without the risk of other more risky investments. Mark became Vice President of DeMiranda Management, one of the largest multifamily management companies in Los Angeles, where he gained a wealth of knowledge managing 3,000 units. In 2008, Mark formed MacFarlane Real Estate, Inc to serve real estate investors.
Joseph R. Gleason, Director of Operations, graduated from The University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelors of Science in Engineering. Joseph began his management career while in college, working for the Associated Students Association as a student manager. After graduation Joseph began working for Marie Callender’s as a full-service restaurant manager before being promoted to the position of Facilities Manager.
Michael Bea, independent asset manager, graduated from The University of California, Berkeley with a dual Bachelors of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies and Political Science. Michael began his Leasing career after graduating and has been instrumental in leasing by utilizing his flexibility and creativity in facing the challenges of leasing in today’s market.
Dora Guerrero, Office Manger, holds an Associates Degree in accounting. Joining the property management field in 1994, Dora knows property management with a special focus on Section 8, HUD housing and non-profit housing subsidies.
